Student’s Numerical Skills in Solving Mathematical Problems on Numbers Subject in Maksuba Cake Context

Numeration is not only useful in solving math problems, but also everyday life. One of problems that can be found related to numeration Palembang’s special cake called Maksuba . The purpose the research describe student’s numeracy competence for numbers subject context. type descriptive having 3 grade V elementary school students odd semester. data collected this are obtained through written test and interview. Descriptive analysis technique implemented analyze obtained. In test, 2 questions given indicators often appear applying several types symbols basic mathematical solve a problem contexts, occur life conducting information shown forms (diagrams, charts, tables, graphs). While, commonly unseen interpreting on resulted order make prediction determining decision making. By implementing context, result shows two out three answer question correctly even though uncommon. Numerasi tidak hanya berguna dalam memecahkan masalah yang ada pada matematika saja, tetapi juga kehidupan sehari-hari sekitar siswa. Salah satu bisa ditemukan berkaitan dengan numerasi yaitu kue maksuba khas Kota Palembang telah lama dikenal dikalangan masyarakat Palembang. Tujuan dari penelitian dilakukan mendeskripsikan kompetensi siswa materi bilangan konteks Kue Maksuba. Dalam menggunakan jenis deskriptif. Subjek penelitiannya berupa orang kelas SD. Teknik pengumpulan ini melakukan tes dan wawancara. Kemudian untuk menganalisa diperoleh hasil dilakukannya teknik analisa Pada tes, diberikan permasalahan Indikator sering muncul adalah menerapkan beberapa simbol angka berhubungan dasar guna penyelesaian sebuah terjadi mengenai informasi ditunjukkan bentuk (diagram, bagan, tabel, grafik, dll). Sedangkan indikator jarang terlihat penafsiran terhadap analisis dihasilkan prediksi penentuan pengambilan keputusan. Dengan hasilnya dua tiga dapat menjawab soal tersebut meskipun merupakan non rutin.
